Terms of Service

Effective 25 September 2026

These terms cover the goodforfree browser extension and goodforfree.com, operated by HBF Capital Group LLC, 1007 N Orange St. 4th Floor Suite #3487, Wilmington, Delaware 19801, United States. Installing the extension or using the site means you accept them, along with our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13, or 16 in the EEA and UK.

1. What you get

The extension is free. There is no subscription and we never ask you for money. Ads shown alongside your feed earn revenue, and we use a share of it to fund food aid.

You are not donating: you get no receipt and no tax deduction, because we fund the aid from our own revenue.

2. Amounts aren't guaranteed

Ad revenue varies with advertiser demand, your region and how much you browse. Numbers shown in the extension or on the site are estimates of collective impact, not a promise and not a record of your personal contribution.

3. Causes

We choose the causes and partner organisations that receive funding and may change them, for example if a partner closes or funds cannot be delivered lawfully and safely. Choosing a cause in the extension tells us your preference; it is not a binding instruction. We pay out in batches and may deduct transfer costs.

4. Fair use

Don't fake tab opens, page views or ad clicks, or help anyone else do it. Don't block or tamper with ads or security features, reverse engineer the extension except where law allows, resell it, overload our servers or APIs, or send unlawful or abusive content. Artificial traffic raises no money and risks our advertising accounts, so we may remove impact credited to it and end your access.

5. Feedback and the chat

An AI assistant writes the instant replies; it can be wrong, and nothing it says is a promise, advice, or a commitment to build anything. Your messages are emailed to our team. If you send ideas or bug reports, you grant us a perpetual, royalty free licence to use them to improve the service, and you keep ownership of what you wrote.

6. Other people's content

Your feed shows headlines, extracts and images from goodforfree.com and other publishers and links out to them. That content belongs to them, we don't endorse it, and their terms apply once you click through. Copyright complaints, including DMCA notices with the information section 512(c)(3) requires, can be sent to management@hbf.capital.

7. Our content

The extension, the site, our name and our logo are ours. You get a personal, revocable, non transferable licence to use the extension as intended, and nothing else.

8. Changes and ending

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service. You can stop at any time by uninstalling. We may end your access if you break these terms, or if we must for legal or security reasons.

9. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, secure or error free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for all claims is limited to USD 100. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some states don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

11. Disputes and governing law

Tell us first at management@hbf.capital and we'll try to resolve it within 30 days. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and the state and federal courts in New York County, New York have exclusive jurisdiction, unless consumer law where you live gives you the right to sue locally.

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service. If a clause is unenforceable the rest stands, and not enforcing a clause isn't a waiver. You may not transfer your rights; we may transfer ours to a successor of our business. We'll update this page and change the effective date; continuing to use the service means you accept the update.
